built from friendship

Crafted by Knifers for Knifers.
Made Exclusively for USAMADEBLADE

a passion project sprung from a decades old recipe and a Friendship  borne in the Knife Community.

Many of you know us.  We know what it means to care for your gear because we’re right there with you, obsessing over every detail.

This isn’t some mass-produced, off-the-shelf wax. Sasquatch Wax is a handcrafted venture, made in the USA by people who understand the importance of quality.  Our decades-old blend of mineral oil and beeswax was perfected through countless hours of testing and tweaking, ensuring it meets the high standards of knifers and hobbyists like us.

Sasquatch Wax is also a labor of love that teaches the next generation the value of hard work and craftsmanship. This project is a family affair, and we involve the kids wherever possible. Scott’s daughter designed the original logo, capturing the spirit of the brand, while “The Next Generation” plays a hands-on role in everything from hand-pouring each can to packaging and shipping the final product. Sasquatch Wax is more than just a wax—it’s a legacy being passed down, ensuring that the tradition of quality and dedication continues for years to come,  from our family to yours.

Whether you’re preserving the finish on your favorite blade, conditioning your micarta scales, or taking care of your wood handles, Sasquatch Wax is the superior choice. It’s made by knifers, for knifers—because we know that your tools deserve nothing but the best.

The Next Generation

The origin Story

The origin of this recipe began back in 1961, when my dad, a hobbyist woodworker and tool collector first perfected this unique blend of mineral oil and beeswax. His recipe quickly became a trusted solution for keeping blades, handles, and gear in top shape and we’ve always had the “tub” of wax around in our garage.  Today, Sasquatch Wax is hand poured one can at a time by the next generation of knife nuts and hobbyists, committed to maintaining the high standards set decades ago by “Pop”.  – Danny
